In my good eye I have 20/200

I am completely blind in $1 from total retina detachment, and a prophylactic tube barely holding together the one for my left. They have been like that since I was 4 or 5, and I can't remember what it's like to have had depth perception. I have a few issues in addition to being 34 and severely nearsighted, such as its continued deterioration as well as random onsets of pain and involuntary weeping in my deadeye, but for the most part I try to soldier through self-sufficiency to the best of my abilities in spite of the many obstacles that I face. :)

20/400. No side vision left. I just found this sub today, glad to finally have some contact with low-vision people. Ive had a real hard time finding others like me.

I used to have 20/400 on my good eye. Recently got a cornea transplant, now i have 20/80. Its awesome.

-7.5 right eye, -8.25 left eye plus astigmatism.

It's correctible, so I am not legally blind. Without contacts, though, it is difficult to function. I bump into doorways because I cannot gauge where edges are. I cannot read unless a page is less than 3 or 4 inches from my face. Daily, I am grateful for what science has accomplished.

My corrected vision varies greatly by day. Good days are about 20/50, bad days are teetering on legally blind. So I count, but I'm on the closer to 'normal' side now. My left eye fucks off some days too.

Uncorrected? I'm at about a -18 with severe astigmatism.

So "severe vision loss" according to my paper.

Legally blind, not quite sure what my visual acuity is.

I have optic nerve atrophy, 20/400 in my left eye and 20/600 in my right. With my contacts in its corrected to 20/200.

I do,

20/800 in good eye. Very small field of vision. Retinopathy of Prematurity.

Legally blind here, with several other disabilities..
