I read an article once about a woman who didn't have good sensitivity in her fingers, and read braille with her tongue.

Sorry... lips: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2366660/Blind-student-learns-read-Braille-LIPS-fingertips-sensitive-feel-bumps.html

According to the article, lips and fingers are the only places where you can feel distinct bumps that are close together, so you probably couldn't read braille with your arm or something.

Well I can read it with my eyes :-D

I'm interested to know this as well. I would imagine that the sensitivity and familiarity of muscle memory in the fingers would make it very hard to use other skin areas to read with, but I don't know!

I read Braille with my penis. I thought that's how everyone did it.
