Question about Braille Publishing (self.Blind)
submitted 9y ago by rebeccaademarest
Hey guys, I was wondering if you know of braille publishers who specialize in novels? I was hoping to get my novel converted into braille to donate to libraries. Thanks!

There's some other ways you can get your novel into the hands of blind people as well, much of which revolves around digital copies. You could contact Bookshare and submit your work there. It's an online library service with hundreds of thousands of books available. Then we could read the book on a computer, phone, or braille display. Is the book available on Kindle, iBooks, etc?

It is, and I just found Bookshare myself! I plan to be sending my manuscript to them next week. Thanks!

You could try to contact Seedlings; they publish lots of books. Otherwise, American Printing House for the Blind (aph.org) is kind of the standard for publishing. It won't be cheap, but they do any size order.
