Hi. Thanks for your interest in this kind of project. A great resource you can use to gage interest in this is www.audiogames.net.
It is a list of available blind accessible games along with a forum.
Give it a look. It's a great community, and people there would be willing to help and give feedback.
Best of luck.

You've got me kind of in a tough spot here. Not because your idea is bad, but simply put because some games are underway like this. Oh man I'm having a mental block on the name of it, but there's one under development that's fantasy I believe.
From an outside perspective, there's a large, untapped market for games for the blind. Sadly, the reason it's untapped is because there aren't enough blind-completely people who all love the same things.
Your game would indeed appeal to me as someone who is 100 percent blind. But from my end I'm asking 'why can't they make the game fantasy/rpg? Or single-solo player swords and sorcery?'
I keep trying to get game/app companies to make some kind of hack and slash rpg with magic spells that's text based, maybe using dice. And one that isn't a m.u.d. because isn't it time for one? Lol.
Sorry, you got me going. Ok, if I were playing this game here's what I would like. Not just a co-op mode. A solo mode would be my personal cup of tea. Perhaps some enhancements, if you've played Dead Island or Skyrim, or I hear Call of Duty does this also, meaning a player levels up adn then gets a point to place into something like 'less damage by x amount'.
Modes/type encounters would be nice also. Remember that swords and magic I mentioned? Well, if there was a mode for armor/melee/magic, and then maybe one for sci-fi like lasers and hi-tech weaponry, that'd be cool too. If the sniper function could let me know I was on-target and scored a hit or miss as part of the game that'd be nice too.
Sorry, but on short-notice this was all I could come up with. I really hope this helps some. Good luck.
