Finally… Here's to hoping that they make the experience somewhat better on all of the iDevices. If only my PlayStation three were accessible… I primarily use that to watch Netflix, but will always need a sighted person to help pick and choose content. Have not really tried using the website on my Mac mini which is also hooked up to my sound system and TV.

On the website, you can pick a show, but you can't seem to pick a particular episode; it just resumes where you left off. You can also pick movies. But when anything is playing, you can't use any of the controls (rewind, pause, fast forward, volume, etc). Of course, that's how it was a month or so ago when I last tried it. If you can come up with the money, I highly recommend getting yourself an Apple TV. It's the best experience a blind person can have with Netflix, Youtube, and even the iTunes store, for that matter. I use it daily, and it was worth every penny.

My thoughts, exactly. I'm waiting for the gushing mainstream media coverage of this, where they talk about how wonderful Netflix is, and never mention that it took over 3 years of constant lobbying, with multiple refusals by Netflix themselves, even though they've supported alternate audio for other languages for years. Also, they make no mention of even attempting to make the website accessible; the only place Netflix even works is on the Apple TV. Even the IPhone app has serious issues.

On the other hand, constant negativity won't help, either. Let's support the victories!

Not true at all. Netflix has worked on Android for a good two years now.

Last I heard, Netflix wasn't even available on Android for DRM reasons. I don't own an Android though, so I wouldn't have heard if that changed.

What issues are you talking about on the iPhone app? I can navigate just fine, and I am totally blind.

As am I. I get massive, massive lags in the Netflix app with VoiceOver on, and frequent crashes of Netflix and Voiceover, both. When it does work, there are frequent places where swiping just...says nothing. Not "button", or anything, just makes the click swipe sound, and says nothing at all. There are also multiple unlabelled buttons throughout the app. You can get it to work, in the same way you can get the website to work, if you're willing to fight with it, and put up with missing functionality. But it's definitely a semi-usable app, not an accessible app. Especially on IOS, there is no excuse for that.

This is strange to me, because I only use the IOS app; and perfectly fine. Sure the layout is a little odd, but I use it on IOS7 and IOS8, and I get around fine.
