I just don't see the appeal of wearable technology like this… It only has four braille cells. I don't see how that can convey nearly enough information at any given moment.

It's enough to show the time. Personally, I stopped wearing Braille watches because every time I tried to read them I'd knock the hands, so the time was never accurate. A watch with four Braille cells wouldn't have that problem, and it would have all the other advantages of a Braille watch (silent, fast, etc). I'm not sure I'm willing to pay that much money for it right now, but I'd consider it carefully.

I've posted about it a couple of times but if you ever get the chance you should try the Eone Bradley. The movement is under the case and time is told with ball bearings on a surface track that are magnetically connected to the movement underneath. Essentially if you touch it too hard the ball will disconnect from the movement and roll freely on its track without messing with the internal mechanism. To get it back on you just flick your wrist and he ball goes straight back to the correct position. I almost never knock the ball off the movement but when I do it's not even annoying to correct. The design is awesome. The watch in the link is interesting but I don't see anything surpassing the Bradley in terms of engineering genius, simplicity, and usability anytime soon.
