Ask the person what he'd like to do. :) I'm not a total but for a lot of reasons (such as not driving or not really being print compatible) identify more with the bvi than sighted community. What i'd add to that list..would be anything fun. Coffee shops, places to eat (money tends to matter when you don't have an unlimited income), random shops to browse for clothing or house items, dollar stores etc. Personally? If i don't have anyone to take me anywhere and on the days i'm housebound so to speak, running. I know i look weird running, and i don't care. I remember the track i run by memory. It's just this amazing feel of freedom when i don't have to explain anyone how i do anything, by just getting physicallt faster and stronger and having some of my music when i run. Hint: guide runners are awesome.

Ok, this might sound crazy, but I'm completely blind and *drum roll please* ... driving! That's correct, if the person's good with directions, following them I mean, a parking lot, or some private road that is empty will do. Like others will tell you, it will depend on the person, but this is another idea for you.

Seconded, Practicing for your self driving car is very important. This is also so totally fun!

I try to go for a walk each day outside. If the weather permits.

The things you listed are good, I'm not totally blind, however those sound like pretty good options. I enjoy hiking as well, although I'd recommend a fixed cane for that since I just about ruined one of my folders on my last hike.

Not fully blind but like /u/Unuhi I consider myself a blind/visual impaired. I like going for walks, horse back riding (which is what got in my position, long story), and play the viola.
