I can tie my shoes the normal way. And I don't use any residual vision to do so. It's all by feel.

I didn't know bunny ears weren't the normal way.

I'm not a huge fan of this list. A lot of them are completely dependant on the person. Other, I can't imagine anyone doing that. Example:

1. You & a friend with even less vision text each other asking where each other is, only to discover you’re standing less than five feet apart!

2. It takes you five minutes just to open a processed cheese wrapper!  (Thanks to Sam @ the Blind Spot for this one!) It takes me like 2 seconds.

3. While out & about, your landmarks include that big red blob & that long blue thingie.

4. You mistake cheesy poofs for carrots!  (Hi Lillian!)

5. Your plan for getting lost at the mall is: walk around for an hour & THEN ask for help if

6. Dropping something tiny routinely results in removal of socks or shoes, followed by an endless

7. Your handwriting’s worse than 10 doctors put together!

I get that a few of these are just jokes, but a lot of those who are familiar with blind people may take this to be true. IDK, just my opinion.

This is not a joke, it's me just having a laugh at my own life! I am legally blind & the creator of this list & every single one of these has either happened to me or several of my blind & visually impaired friends, but to each their own.
