I (blind from birth) can get really intense deja vu from music; sometimes I can hear something I've never heard before and I get the feeling of intense familiarity, like I should know what it is or remember something associated with it, even though I've never heard it before. It used to freak me out quite a bit when I was younger, and it still fascinates me. Not sure if that's the kind of answer your looking for but thought you might find it interesting. As for psychedelics I can't say, but I'm very curious and am sure I'll end up doing them at some point; maybe I'll post a trip report to r/lsd when I do.
