Aumax S Video Magnifier and OS X - Need some help (self.Blind)

I have an Aumax S video magnifier, and currently I am trying to hook it up via USB to my MacBook Pro. The problem seems to be I can't find the proper software online to run the device. I have found a download that claims to be the software, but my computer seems to think the file is malware. Does anyone else use this device and have any suggestions?

It sounds like the software is unsigned. To allow the software to run, go to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > General Tab > Allow Apps Downloaded from: and adjust the setting downwards. You may have to set the radio button to "anywhere"
