OK - So how the heck do I not use Reddit 'mobile' view while using my iphone ? I just can't read or do anything that way. If there's a way to switch it over to Desktop view it'd be brilliant. I"m guessing a few of you have the same issue.

That was driving me nuts the other day. Took me a while to find the button myself. In the announcement where they talked about adding the mobile page by default there was a guide on how to turn it off. When on a mobile page there is a button in the very top right of the page. Click it and it will show a menu. Hit the option for show desktop page. From then on each time you visit reddit it should always show the normal view. Though you might have to do it again after you reset your cookies. Hope it helps.

Thank you so much!!!

Yeah, and if the folks who coded the mobile site would label the goddamn button used to launch the menu ... that would be, um, great or something. Why would you want to provide labels, or code with accessibility in mind, though???

An alternative to turning the mode off is switching the URL from M. to WWW.
Examples.

I never use read it through Safari. I use the BaconReader app. If there is a major thread I want to look through, I use the native Reddit app on my iPhone. Why not try those?
