Question - Is there a public DB...? (self.Blind)
submitted by rumster
Of people by county/city where people with some sort of visual impairment?

I'm working on finding a new location to employ more people with visual disability, but finding the right location is really tuff.

I'm not aware of one, and I really hope not! That'd be a huge privacy issue. There's no reason information about my location should be public just because I'm blind. :-(

not your home location but a census. Sorry

Ah, fair enough. Still, I dunno if the government makes that kind of info public.

You could always look into which regions offer more services or organizations for blind/vi people and then call them to get an idea of size.

Is this work that can be done by telecommuting?

Boston, Brighton, and Watertown, MA have a high blind population. Perkins School for the Blond is in Watertown.
