People with RP, do you experience these symptoms as well? (self.Blind)
submitted by remigusvarg
Over the past six months I've been having increased migraines, sometimes several a week. Last year I started developing a tinnitus and visual static that has now become extremely severe (I'll post a link to the video I made at the end of the post)

I also get episodes where my eyes just suddenly refuse to focus. I have both reading and regular glasses but switching between them doesn't help, I just can't focus at all, everything just gets blurry and then it goes away. I also more and more often feel like my eyes are really dry, and I'm always properly hydrated.

Here's a link to a video I made of how the static and tinnitus works. The first fifteen seconds are control footage and then after that you see what I see

My GP is the first doctor to agree with me that all of this might not be caused by RP alone and I'm doing a bunch of tests these days but it takes a long time to get answers

Honestly they sound like my Mirgraines, and also my hearing issues (still getting testing on that one). I am no help, but you are not alone.

But I don't have RP, but cortical blindness caused by a TBI

Visual statistic always.. and wierd blue waves that happen occasionally. Have you been genetically tested?

Just a note, I had dry eye for 6 years and then started taking drops to control eye pressure. First day I took the drops, bam! no dry eye

Besides the dryness i am in the same annoying boat, i am also being a lab rat with all the tests.
