Kids turn 18 next month - SSI questions? (self.Blind)

My two blind/VI children have never qualified for SSI due to the income limits. They will turn 18 in February, and I read that parental income/assets aren't considered once that happens. Where can I find out what steps I need to take for them? I read the SS website but it wasn't particularly clear.

You can go to your local SSI office.
