I was in a relationship for three years when I started having my vision problems that ended up leading to me going blind. The relationship began to get Rocky and distant after the first few surgeries, and she finally couldn't take it anymore after my vision went completely away. Over the course of everything I was going through, she kept saying that I needed to get better for things to work out. She broke up with me, but we still had to live together since we were cohabiting. Made things pretty difficult, especially when having to deal with the loss of my vision on top of everything, but thankfully she finally moved out a few months later.

I used my new screen reader technology as best I could and hit the dating scene again, met somebody new who didn't care that I was blind, hit it off extremely well, and we have been together ever since.
