Sorry, you said you were "completely blind" in your right eye (usually listed on an eye report as NLP), but the very next sentence said "able to see a bit of shadow and light." (which would be listed as LP or even HM on an eye report). Which means it isn't completely blind, since you literally just said you can see something.

You should talk to your doctor about it. Enucleation is surgery, and you should get a medical opinion. If your eye is not functioning well and it is extremely painful, some doctors may opt for surgery.

I can only see light if you flash a flashlight in my eye and if you're standing on my right side i cant see you at all. I was told it was caused by fetal alcohol syndrome. there is something behind my eye that just never connected. its been none functional since birth.

For FAS, roughly 60% of cases have underdeveloped optic nerves (the nerve that connects the eye to the brain). That is likely the something that isn't connected. But as you just said, you can see a flash from a flashlight, so you can see **something** rather that nothing at all. While medically, there may be nothing that can be done now, future therapies may be able to repair that damage.

In the meantime, you really should talk to your eye doctor about it. Unless there is a good medical reason, most doctors wouldn't remove the eye.

Possible? Yes

Good idea? Possibly not.

Why do you want it removed?

It depends? Why do you want it removed? What's the problem?
