It's hardly super difficult, but I was having trouble differentiating the shampoo from the conditioner. Now I keep a rubber band on the shampoo bottle and I know it's shampoo.

Many women (and some men) have hair types that don't allow for that.

Allowing someone to help me when I can do something myself.

Meaning I don't need someone to feed, wash or clothe me. Selecting clothes that match better would be helpful. Telling me how food is arranged on and around my plate is also appreciated.

Also do not come in my residence and re-arrange things, without asking me first. That is the worse thing a person with vision can do to someone who has lost theirs.

Be respectful when dealing with someone who wasn't born blind. I just recently lost my vision, thus I'm quite independent. Don't assume that I need help with something. Allow me to ask you when assistance is needed.

Matching socks. Especially if you have a lot of socks with different colours. I personally just wear all the exact same black socks, so it doesn't matter because they all match.
