This site works with NVDA (not sure about other screenreaders.) With speech alone you can use the site to practice 6 key braille input and learn about which dots of a cell make certain letters or symbols (and practice with a slate and stylus if you have one!) There is audible feedback for everything. There are many lessons that are a gradual introduction to UEB.
If you have a braille display you can use it with the lessons as well, and .brf files are included for displays and embossers.
This site is good for new braille learners, those who only know grade one, or those transitioning from a national system to UEB as well as people wanting to learn how to input braille.
