Doing technological project - what problems do you face that could be helped with technology? (self.Blind)

I'm doing a masters project in the realm of creative technology and thought id ask people on here if theres any problems you or your friends encounter as partially sighted/blind persons, that could be improved by technology. This also extends to if you have a service animal and if theres anything that could be improved in your relationship/ease of use with them. I'm looking to regard the feedback and work out what I could create to help certain problems/issues encountered.

Maybe a site/widget/app that would let developers know what parts of their websites are and are not accessible for those using screen readers. Nvda is a free program you can download if you want to try out a screen reader first hand.
