Accessibility and Reddit (self.Blind)
submitted by bright_side1977
I'm at a conference for accessibility in tech (my son is blind and making an app to help blind people access restaurant menus). Reddit has a table at the conference. They're here to learn best practices in accessibility and inclusion. Just wanted to share.

Wow, good to hear! And they added audio CAPTCHAs just a couple weeks ago.

They mentioned that.

Have you guys used KNFB reader? It already does this, but for all types of text. Might be what you need?

Awesome!

I'll look into knfb. Thanks! And yes, it was great to see them there.

Are you at the tech inclusion conference here in San Francisco? I was just there! I dropped my resume off with them seeing if they wanted any more accessibility specialists to help make everything better. :-) it was a great career fair, and they had cited guides to help those of us who were blind around to each table.
