For those who are partially blind or *insert legal term here*, how will you describe to someone born blind, what is a Rainbow?

I would describe color as the timbre of vision, even though physically it is its pitch, and this because people distinguish between different colors and timbres but not between different sound frequencies. As a result I would describe a rainbow as a range of seamlessly morphing timbers.
