Did anyone else hate anything that had to deal with a ball during PE in school. (self.Blind)

I always put my arm up like I was patting my head when ever someone would hit/kick a ball when ever I was in the outfield or whatever. I know this sound completely stupid. Lol!

I'm on the very sighted end of visually impaired so there is lot of things I thought were normal and never contributed to my vision loss since it's a lifelong thing. I just learned earlier this year that people can actually see a ball in motion and now the fact that I suck at any moving-object type sport finally made sense. It also explains why I hated sparing in karate. I had to do everything OF instincts not sight because I couldn't see their fists/arms/feet/legs moving fast enough.

Thinking about PE gives me anxiety and I was fully sighted back then. Frisbees were the worst, always hitting someone!
