Desktop software similar to voice dream? (self.Blind)

I use voicedream on my iPad for school books since I can make the text super large and also have it read to me. I haven't been able to find similar software for my MacBook. I've found apps that will read me the texts, but not any that let me change the font size and colors.
Anyone know of software for a MacBook that is similar to voice dream?

Not for a mac book no, but on windows I would suggest Qread
