I definitely do. I'm just on the edge of legally blind. All of my senses are somewhat heightened too, not just smell. Smell is one of the worst though, I literally can't be in the same room as some foods because the smell makes me nauseous. I haven't figured out any way to deal with it yet though on a way that doesn't hurt people's feelings.

Yes. Especially perfumes. I've often had to change seats in theatres and churches to avoid people who smelled way too strong. For me, "real" smells don't bother me, even if they're strong. But something about the chemical smells of perfumes, air fresheners, deodorants, etc I just can't stand. Apparently expensive perfumes can smell less fake, but I can't speak from experience, as I don't know anyone who spends that much money on them.

Yes, I do. For me the smells that I just can not stand are Subway, cigerettes, and weed.

They are just over powering and I need to get fresh air.

I'm curious, has your boyfriend been legally blind for a long time or is this a recent development? My partner is low vision on his way to being legally blind and he has said that he has noticed no change in his hearing or sense of smell or any other cool superpowers. His words not mine.

My fathers (legally blind) hearing is much better than his other senses, he's one of those people allergic to everything so he isn't very reliant on his sense of smell. It's crazy how well he can hear, and not only that, but able to identify sounds exceptionally well.
