Do any of you guys play video games? (self.Blind)

If so, how? What ones? Thanks for any replies.

I play mostly fighting games, with some Rock Band sprinkled in, but I haven't played RB in a long time. The next game I'll be playing on that front is Injustice 2.
Right now, i've been consumed with Flight Simming, a hobby that's expensive but rewarding. Check out my Youtube channel:

While I was just legally blind I used to play all kinds of video-games because my vision was enough for that and I could see colors and contrast perfectly. The game I played the longest was World of Warcraft, where I played a Paladin tank. Other than that I played a lot of Elder Scrolls and Need for Speed. As a fully blind person I no longer make an attempt to play anything since sound alone isn't enough to provide the depth and immersion that I enjoy in video-games.

that sucks that you can't play games anymore. but i gotta wonder though, has becoming completely blind radically changed your hobbies? do you listen to music/audio books more as a result?

I don't have any hobbies anymore, and live in denial.

Here is an article that answers your question and gives examples by a blind gamer.

Audiogames, though! Like RedSpot! :) That's a first-person shooter, but with 3D sound through a headset to guide us.

I used to be an avid gamer, with a steam library containing over 100 games, a PS3, and many many mobile games.

After going blind, practically all of the accessible games available to us are nowhere near any iota of immersion that all the previous games I played with vision offered me. I still play games such as dice world, trivia crack, audio games like the night jar, and have recently found and really gotten into the RS Games client and online community. That one is all audio-based, and despite its bugs, it is very very enjoyable if not just for the company of fellow blind gamers.
