I have submitted a feature request to add scroll wheel control of windows magnifiers zoom level please vote for it on the Microsoft site. (self.Blind)

Hello /r/Blind I have just discovered this sub today while looking for an alternative to Windows Magnifier/ZoomText. I am legally blind and use screen magnifiers to use OSX/Linux and Windows. After switching careers a few years a go I went from using OSX all day to using Windows. I had forgotten how bad Windows Magnifier was. Not being able to adjust the zoom level with the mouse scroll wheel significantly slowed down my use of the computer, I could get a copy of ZoomText but I find it to be a terrible resource hog on the system. I decided that I should submit a feature request to Microsoft asking them to add this functionality to Windows Magnifier (this is something I tried a year ago via a ticket with Microsoft which was closed immediately with no feedback). I discovered today that you can request a feature and users can vote for it. If you could take a moment to vote for my request I would very much appreciate it. I guarantee I will not be the only visually impaired person to benefit from it assuming Microsoft adds this feature.

It looks like we may get it!
"Hello,

I had a chance to talk to our engineering team in charge of Magnifier. They are looking into making this feature a part of a future release. Once this comes out, we will let you know.

Again, thanks for contacting us about your feature request.

Sincerely,

The Microsoft Disability Answer Desk team."
