Anyone here has experience with Roland's Backing Keyboards?(self.Blind)
submitted by Vaelian
Recently my cousin started to learn piano and influenced me to try it as well. I had already thought about buying an arranger keyboard and learning music myself despite the fact that I can't read sheet music. Two years ago I set my sights on the Roland BK3 but never actually got to buy it because it has a screen with a dial to select on-screen menu items, which makes it completely inaccessible to me. However yesterday I realized that Roland has an app for the iPad called BK Partner which mirrors much of the functionality present on the device's screen, which in theory would make the keyboard accessible. So I was wondering whether anyone here had experience with those keyboards and whether the app works well with VoiceOver. I would also like to know if the ad-hoc wireless key persists even if I shut down the keyboard, because I will be using it at a location without a familiar wireless network.

A better place to post this question might be $1. If they can't help you, they'll at least know what keyboards are accessible. You might also want to start looking into $1.

No idea, I'm afraid. I don't play anything myself, so other than knowing that midi-mag exists, I got nothing. Sorry!
