I use an iPhone. Voiceover works really, really well

thanks for answer.

I'm using an iPhone SE running iOS 10.3.2. Voiceover is vastly superior to talkback/android and I largely prefer the body style of the iPhone 5/SE over any of the newer models.

I use a Windows phone. Iphone is a bit to expensive for me but the Windows UI is pretty friendly for vision impaired and has good voice recognition.

What did voiceover used to be like? Was it always this functional and practical?
fastfinge 1 points 6y ago
Voiceover was always ahead of Android, and was always the most functional and practical solution on a touch screen. However, you could argue that the first version of Voiceover on the iPhone 3GS wasn't as nice as Talks (the Symbian screen reader on old Nokia non-touchscreen phones). But voiceover had surpassed it by the time the iPhone 4 came out.

I use to use a Samsung but changed to an iPhone 7 a couple of months ago. The iphone is a lot better for all the reasons others have said.

I'm stuck with an Android S5 right now and I hate it.

I use an iPhone 4S which I bought when I still had sight and happened to be the right choice for me after going blind. If I had to buy a new one today I'd go for the iPhone SE.

Welcome to /r/blind!

Salam

I agree, the IPhone is the best way to get online from a mobile, but computers will probably offer an easier access. I have pakistani blind friends who live in England who can help, if you need more information. Just message me.
