grocery ads (self.Blind)
submitted by simpleman84
I don't currently use a smart phone. I understand that it is my responsibility to do that, so I don't want to shame the grocery stores in my area for not providing their ads in a format that is specificly accessible in my circumstances, because I literally use internet explorer while everyone else is using IOS or Android to access the ad, but the second problem I have, the main one really, is that even though these stores have their ad on their website, it is a picture of the print ad, meaning that the text isn't readable by my screen reader. Are their any sites that provide grocery promotions in web formats that I can read. I am using Windows 10 and System Access.

Where do you live? In Canada, AMI Audio has a show where they read out the ads for most national chains; you can find it at ami.ca. Also, if you use PC Points, the weekly email they send that lists the deals is quite accessible. Again, though, that's Canada only.
