Blind and Visually Impaired Community

My sister-in-law has just been diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease she is 24 and will be completely blind in less than 2 years does. What can I do to support her and my wife through this? My wife and sister-in-law are extremely close and I have no real clue how to react to this situation. (self.Blind)
