Accessible Voting in the UK (self.Blind)
submitted by RNIBConnect
Hello r/Blind

Tomorrow, I will be meeting with a member of parliament called Chris Skidmore, who is championing accessible voting.

Have any of you had any issues, wether it be your TVD not being the correct size, or there being no way for you to vote independently and in secret; or any questions you would like me to ask him on your behalf?

Thanks,
RNIB Connect

Hi. This isn't to do with accessible voting. i've found that to be fine but my question is why must we vote? I personally want nothing to do with polotix. I don't understand it and won't pretend to do so. I really do not like that if we do not vote we are fined. I believe we should have the write to decide whether we do or do not vote and should not be fined for that. Can you ask this person why the system is set up the way it is and whether it will be changing in the future?
