Grandmother lost most of her vision (95yo). Looking for recommendations for a home phone for visually impaired/blind. (self.Blind)

So my 95yo grandmother has very recently lost most of her vision (last couple weeks from a cholesterol blockage that lodged in her one good eye). She has very slight vision now but its mostly shapes with no real definition. We are looking for a home phone for her that has large keys (black on white), voice announce when they are pressed, speed dial programmed numbers and caller id announcing name AND number. The name and number seems to be the toughest to find where it's usually just number. Anything you guys could recommend would be really appreciated.

http://www.lssproducts.com/category/telephones - you may want to look around the rest of their site as well. Lots of useful stuff.

My Panasonic cordless phone will speak name and number. However, the buttons on it are really small. I'm not sure you're going to find all the functions you want in a single phone.

One thought: You can get seperate boxes that just do caller ID $1. Then you can just buy a simple phone with large buttons, and no digital electronics at all.

This. There's no need to have the buttons speak. It's super easy to memorize the locations of the main buttons (0-9, *, #).

Ooh. This looks great! Thanks so much, I think this could be the ticket.
