It's a problem in Toronto as well. I was working with a client before, on a route to a hair salon, and the lady started screaming that the dog wasn't allowed in. I explained what we were doing and the laws regarding guide dogs, didn't matter. The client ended up going to a different salon that dealing with that mess (I think she did call the cops later, though).

This year alone, I can think of over a dozen cases (for clients I've worked with) where a Uber driver has denied a ride to a client with a guide dog, too. :(

I live here, so I saw this on CBC this morning. I suspect this is still a problem in a lot of places.

Still a problem everywhere, even in BC where they have a actual ID.
