Hi all,
I have a friend in late 40s who is a blind person, and who would like to try using a dating app/website. He asked me to look around the internet for best options, so of course reddit is my first stop :)
I would recommend Tinder, but am unsure of whether this is is a good idea, considering that my friend does not own a smartphone, plus it is primarily a picture-based app. I'd be grateful for any input! Thank you!

Serious question: is he looking to date other people who are blind? Or this is a question about how accessible the website/app is for a person who is blind?

Hi, sorry for the late response! It is the latter, the best, i.e. most accessible website/app for a person who is blind. He is not looking necessarily for other people who are blind.

I'd recommend a site that focuses more on personality and shared values, rather than looks. eHarmony and OKCupid come to mind.

The best free option is OK Cupid. He can use the mobile website for the most accessible experience. m.okcupid.com
