Survey: Do you guys enjoy playing Audio Game on mobile ? (self.Blind)
submitted by parapa00
My friends and I are recently trying to create a mobile game that rely purely on audio. After some research, audio games typically come in restricted genres such as horror (Papa Sangre) and adventure (Blind Legend). Please forgive our ignorance; we really have no idea how people with visual disability typically use the smartphone. Therefore, here are some questions we have prepared:

1. What are some of the primary methods used to navigate your smartphone i.e. voice or touch ?

2. What do you think about mobile game that involves making a lot of movements (rotating, tilting) your phone as part of the game mechanics ?

3. List some of the games that you wish to be made mobile friendly and accessible to you.

4. How many of you meet new friends through playing the same game together ? Do you enjoy collaborative based game ?

5. What do you think about a game that relies entirely on audio input as feedback to the players ?

Please share any additional thoughts or questions. Cheers guys

1. I made a $1 that show's how blind people use iPhones.

2. I think it's sort of gimmicky. It's cool at first, but it gets annoying after a while; especially if you're in a public place.

3. It's honestly hard to say. Basically all all mobile games are so inaccessible, that I never really payed attention to any popular titles.

4. I've met two of my best friends through onlines audio games. Granted, they weren't mobile. That being said, I'm rather indifferent to collaborative games.

5. Absolutely not.
