Apple TV vs Amazon tv? (self.Blind)

My mom is completely blind and I’m going to get my mom either the Apple TV or amazon tv for Christmas, but I’m not sure which is best. She currently has a 3rd generation Apple TV but she’s not very tech savvy, meaning she doesn’t want to learn how to use it with voiceover, so I’d like to upgrade her to a newer model of Apple TV where you can speak into the remote. However, she has an Amazon Echo so I’m not sure if the Amazon tv would be best for her or Apple TV. Can anyone offer any insight? Thank you!!!

For what its worth, at least to me the Apple tv gen 4 is a little more difficult for a non techy to use with the voiceover screen reader.
You can use a bit of speech, but there is still stuff where you have to use menus and such.
I don't have any experience with the Amazon tv, but it may be worth while to spend an afternoon helping her learn to use her third gen apple tv.
If you still want to buy a new device, I'd still recommend Apple since she already is in the apple ecosystem with her old one.
Just food for thought.
