I find the way you put things interesting. I too thought of myself as a sighted person with some vision loss when I had sight despite only having 10% of visual acuity, and so did the people around me. However being totally blind is fundamentally different from having 10% or even 5% of acuity because it changes the way you do things and even the most trivial things become complicated, and this is a problem for me since it clashes directly with my philosophy of life where I only do things that flow naturally, because blindness forces me to constantly come out of my comfort zone and I hate that.
