What are some movies that are mostly dialogue, & not chick flicks?(self.Blind)

I'm not like totally blind, so if there's an important visual scene now & then, that's fine.
Dialogue heavy movies are just easier to absorb.
Thanks!

Waking Life is just dialogue, nothing else.
If you want the best dialogue on the best trilogy I can't recommend Before Sunrise enough. It's most definitely not a chick flick

Absolutely. I am sighted but feel like I would have enjoyed waking life more without the visuals as it would be experienced better like a book where the mind has more capacity to wander and be creative

A little off topic, but if your interested in giving audio discription a try you should check out www.blindmicemart.com If you make a free account you can download as many movies as you want.

Sounds interesting. How does it work?

It only has the descriptive audio track. They have TV shows and movies.

With descriptive audio, any movie is available for the blind.

The man from earth
I recommend NOT reading anything about it and just watching it.

I was going to recommend this too

Check out Kevin Smith's Clerks if you wanna chortle. Very vulgar film, super dialogue intensive. If you can get past the scene dealing with the number 37 and you're not amused, you can quit.

In a row?
I think most of the View Askewniverse movies are pretty good for dialog over action. Though I guess you don't get the full effect of Dgoma.

Normally I’m not into political stuff but the west wing TV series is very dialog heavy and well crafted.

This. Anything Aaron Sorkin wrote, basically. West Wing, The Newsroom, Sports Night. They're all superbly written and acted and only a small handful for times did I think "Man I wish this was described" but then the characters would basically recap the visual thing that happened a few seconds later.

Any black and white movie is bound to be mostly dialogue since special effects weren't really a thing at the time.
The Godfather movies are great if you have someone who can read the subtitles for you when the characters are speaking Italian.
The Shawshank Redemption is widely considered to be one of the greatest movies of all time story wise.
A great many TV shows are heavily based on dialogue. If you're up for a laugh and don't mind trying to parse strings of Canadian idioms and profanity, Letterkenny is pretty entertaining and the vast majority of its run time is people sitting or standing around having conversations and not *doing* too much.

For some reason, Suicide Kings comes to mind; I don't remember it being action\-heavy, but it's been a while so I may be mis\-remembering.

The various Monty Python movies do tend to have a lot of visual sketch comedy; but the dialogue based bits are funny enough they're still a fun experience.

Fear and loathing in Las Vegas has great dialog. Tons of great quotes and descriptive wording. Let me know what you think!
