Wow, this is pretty sad. I would have believed him if he said "It was tough to watch", meaning that he was busy. For some reason him saying that it is tough to watch seems a little more offensive. Funny how he says that when we brought home more metals than the Olympians.

He seriously needs a competent PR guy. Growing up, I wondered why presidents and other political leaders had speech writers, and now I know.

Any competent PR guy would either say things he doesn't like and get fired, or refuse to work for someone like this in the first place
