Looking for pen pal for blind sister (20F) (self.Blind)

Hi all! I’m looking to get my sister in contact with a role model of sorts. She’s completely blind from birth and just graduated high school. She has dreams of going to college but due to logistical issues that has been temporarily stalled. I was hoping that if she talked to people facing the same struggles she would be more willing to become more independent and just generally be happier. Would any of you be willing to be email pen pals with her?

Me and my wife would. She is blind and graduated from Michigan state University with a Bachelor in Kinesiology. FYI MSU is extremely blind friendly. PM for email

The Hadley Institute has a pen pal program going on right now where they are pairing up people. That would be great for your sister.

You need to be in rolled in a course to join the program I think. You could just in roll into a really easy course or just call them for more information.

I am known for my success, not my sensitivity. I try to be nice but I do have a very pragmatic stance to life, not always soft and nice. Hahahaha!
