I am studying digital games. My BA thesis is about the media consumption of the visually impaired.

My main aim is I to research the difference between the media consumption of blind and non\-blind people, through text\-based media, films and interactive media such as web pages or digital games.

I would like to examine what methods were used to create media products made specifically for or by the visually impaired.

The practical part of my project is to conceptualize a tool designed for the visually impaired enabling them to create digital games for others with visual impairment.

I am currently reaching out to the local institution for the blind, but I thought I’d also ask here if anyone has something interesting to share with me. It can be literature, a project, personal stories or anything, really, related to this topic.

Also if someone is interested to talk to me about this topic more in depth and share their thoughts with me about movies, sports, digital games or again anything related, I would deeply appreciate it either through comments or PMs.
