Father-in-law eye problem and the World Cup (self.Blind)
submitted by apeinej
Hello folks,

My father\-in\-law, age 78, has completely lost sight from one eye, and the other one is about 25%\-20%.

Is there a way for him to watch the World Cup? Maybe with those VR goggles or something of the sort, which make the image closer to the eye? He doesn't like to listen to it on the radio or on TV.

Or just listen on the radio! I believe tunein or sirius Will be caring it! It might be more trouble than it’s worth if he has limited vision rather than just to listen to it!

Depending on how much vision he has, something like Max TVs may also help.

You could probably purchase him a large and high resolution screen and have him sit close to it. You might also test how well he can see it on an iPad.
