Any tips for visiting NYC with my friend who is blind? I have been to the city lots but it's his first time. Central Park was my first choice but might get rainy.

It's not a bad city for VI people in general. The subways are there and the straight streets in Manhattan are more navigable than many equivalent cities with angled or looping streets.
