Problems buying Kindle ebooks on Amazon (self.Blind)

For some reason, I haven't been able to buy Kindle ebooks on Amazon. The site I've been using is amazon.es but the same problem seems to exist in the British version of the site.
I'm using Firefox and NVDA as browser and screen reader.
Anyone has a clue what's going on and possible workarounds?

I could get it to work with chrome. Press enter on the combo box under "deliver to", to get into forms mode. Then shift+tab several times, and you'll come to the buy button.

Thanks for suggestion. Unfortunately I don't run Chrome but I suppose I may end up trying that as a last resort. Very odd that this which used to work with no problem has stopped working.
