Lightnings - can you see them? (self.Blind)
submitted by jtchworld
Hi

I know that there is different kinds of blindness and I know it is a vision thing but can any of you see a lightning doing a thunderstorm? as when as a seeing person I close my eyes then sometimes I can see the lightning if close or if it was very dark in the area. Sorry if it is dumb question

Not all blind people are entirely without sight. I'm low vision and can see lightning. I would venture to say that most blind people can see a flash of light, as most blind people have at least light perception.

I can only see a flash of light in the sky.

And it's not a stupid question in my opinion. If you're curious about something, just ask. Otherwise you won't get your answer.
