Braille Jewelry (self.Blind)
submitted by creativesecondhand
I have a client that is totally blind and makes really incredible jewelry with Braille on it. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, even tags for dog collars. I am looking to expand her business, places where she can advertise, and hoping that you all might have some suggestions.

Blogs, magazines, support groups, anything!

Here is her site, if you're interested: $1

We discussed Etsy. I am trying to get her to open up her own shop.

The reason I sell on etsy instead of independently is because etsy handles finding customers (website traffic) they handle disputes between sellers and customers, the handle payment processing and more. Those things are all very hard to do on your own. and paying for advertising is a whole other issue, but not when you're selling on etsy. thats done for you.

There are quite a few Facebook groups for people Who are blind or visually impaired who would love this. I’ll do my best to share. Just checked the website out and it looks pretty amazing. Wonder if she could get a booth at the NFB or ACB conventions next year as it would help her business out quite a bit

This would be wonderful. Can you share some of those Facebook groups here? Or you can send me a message with them? She'd be ecstatic.
