Are there any good, accessible, and free/reasonably priced games for Mac? (self.Blind)
submitted by AllHarlowsEve
I keep getting suggested games for Windows, which is fine and all but I hate Windows tbh. I much prefer Mac's style of navigation and it has much clearer voices IMO.

I've played a few browser based games but they tend to bore me, so is there any actual accessible mac games, either on the app store or otherwise?

I've seen like... five, and I remember one was crazy expensive for what the game was, two were already on iPhone, one wouldn't run, and one ran incorrectly, so I'm not holding out a lot of hope.

If only there was a decent mud client for mac, then we'd really have something. Do you enjoy interactive fiction/text adventures? There's a good and accessible z-machine/glulxe interpreter on mac, if that's your kind of thing.

What sort of games do you like?

Pretty much anything but sports. When I could see I played a lot of sci-fi type games and stuff like pokemon, cooking mama, paper mario, and some building games/multiplayer casual games.

Got you. See, I play mostly fighting games, since you can play them by sound alone. I've had a lot of success with fighting games in fact, and find them pretty accessible.
