I had to get a second opinion from another low vision specialist because the first one prsxribed me glasses I could barely see out of. The second one told me that I see 20/20 but the card near is not completely understandable. Witgh the same glasses I tried my vision changed fronm 20)60 to 20/20 so IDK if those are the best options. Also tested it with the near vision chart but it was also 20)60. I have seen a little better with the hand held magnifier than the new prescription glasses up-close. The weird part about this is that the Dr said on my driver's license vision form that I see 20)80 without aide, despite me not seeing much of any of the words at distance without aid. He also said that I see 20)20 obn the form. The Dr who d/x with vision loss did say that my vchanged from clear to blurry with glasses and theat is why she refused to see me again. She is not a low vision specialist, but she tried all the prescriptions via an equipment that he did not use, and prescribed me a pair stronger than the new prescription. This sounds like deja Vu all over again.
