Hey everyone!
So I am a student currently studying New Media at the University of Maine! I am in a class that focuses on User Experiences as a holistic approach, and my current project involves me for prototyping an app that is built solely for blind/ restricted vision.
I came here because 1) Reddit is one of the best tools for communication within niche groups and 2) because I am hoping that this community would love to help!
So what is it I need help with? Well I am attempting to build personas for my app, AKA end users, and to do that I need some information from people who are visually impaired, no matter how severe, who you are etc.If you could simply answer the following questions, the ones that you are comfortable with, in a response that would be amazing! I can't wait to get to know you all!

You can leave that out if you wish, it's more of a formality so I can have different 'personas' or example end users if you will.

Can you set up a survey on google? You might get more people. Also, what do you mean by ‘range of sight’? Do you mean accuities?

Acuity, field, depth, color contrast, light sensitivity. All that jazz hopefully.
