Sunu Band: yet another update. This time it's good, I promise (self.Blind)

Heyo. I'm back with more Sunu Band stuffs. I was writing up my rather negative review of the band and was preparing to post it today but I reached out to Sunu to start the return process in the meantime.
Naturally they wanted to know why I was returning it so I told them and sent them a copy of my review.
Well, not long after they called me. Yup, I was at work and they called me out of the blue. Yes, I had provided my contact info previously.
I almost didn't answer. I usually don't answer numbers not on my contact list and my OnePlus 5T doesn't even ring unless it's a contact.
When I'm at work though I'll often answer just to break the monotony. Most of the time it's some SSI scam or a dead call but this time it was Sunu.
We spoke for some time about my issues with the band. I specifically pointed out the problems with the app.
In the end, not only did they send me a gift card for my time but they also offered to replace my band due to the defect.
I took them up on their offer. Yes, I did dislike the band overall but it's not entirely useless. There were several situations where I was quite glad to be wearing it.
Hopefully I will be able to provide them with more feedback and they will do more work to get the app to an acceptable level of functionality.
I'll make updates here as soon as stuff happens. For now though I must wait.
